Ship Model Gallery of Park
The Great Hall of Steam has been given a new part of the park to make the park’s Great Hall more attractive. It includes several models of the ship. These new models in the gallery include Jamestown, Side wheel Steamboat, and Sailing Ship. Along with this, models of Walking Beam Engine, Cross Compound Steam Turbine Engine, and Quadruple Expansion Steam Engine are also be on display. Collection Gallery of Museum
The museum has all kinds of objects about 32000. The size of these objects ranges from 1.5 inches to 90 feet which is the most amazing in the world. These artifacts whether new or old, on display or in storage all have a story. The museum’s special collection includes maps and charts, log books, magazines, and manuscripts relating to the arts, culture of the sea, and maritime history.
Park and Trail of the Museum
This location is the largest maintained and privately owned site in the country. Spread over 550 acres, you can experience many new things, exciting views, a natural environment, and unique things to see in this park. There is a 5-mile Noland Trail, with 14 bridges, picnic areas, benches, and mile markers for the visitors.
Fact:
- Anna Hyatt, the wife of the museum’s founder, also erected a monument called Conquering the Wild to overlook the Lions Bridge, Mariners Lake, and the park.
- Inside it there is the International Small Craft Center, a collection of 17,500 square feet that houses approximately 150 boats from 42 countries.
Activities: – The Mariners Museum of Virginia is always open to visitors with a wide variety of exhibits and storage. There is much to see and learn from diverse waterways and cultures. The sculpture, designed by museum founder Milton Huntington and his wife Anna Hyatt, adds to the beauty of the museum.

Inside this park, there is a lake spread over a land of 167 acres which provides a beautiful scenic view. A park festival is organized by The Mariners’ Museum. There is also a family gathering place where you can sit and enjoy the park.
Plan to visit: – The Mariners Park is open to welcome visitors until 5:00 pm, seven days a week. The entrance fee here is only $1 for a person of any age. Coming to this museum with your family and children is a new experience. Boating and fishing in the museum, you can make your vacation memorable by seeing the long-leaf pine grove. A pleasant experience is obtained here from the lake and the park.
