Located in Minnesota, USA, St. Cloud's Munsinger Gardens on 14 acres of land and the Clemens Garden on 7 acres of land are two separate but adjacent gardens on the banks of the Mississippi River. Where Munsinger Garden is informal and Clemens Garden is formal. Munsinger Gardens, built in the 1930s, offers breathtaking views through a border of flowers winding beneath a high ridge. The garden comprises beautiful flower beds, plantations, a lily pond, a fountain, and a rock-lined path that captivates the minds of tourists.

Enjoy a walk on the brick and winding path in the serene and picturesque natural environment here. Your mind will be filled with joy when you see eleven hundred types of roses in the Clement Rose Garden. These roses include tree roses, hybrid teas, floribundas, shrub roses, and Grandifloras which provide an attractive view.

Events of garden

During the journey, you get to see many beautiful events in this garden. A music festival is held every Sunday during the summer. Enjoy watching the art fair hosting various artists, musicians, and food vendors. Take a Photography in the Garden contest and make your trip a memorable one. Local talent is showcased in these concerts here and all concerts are free of cost.

Art Fair in Garden

The Garden hosts an art fair during the summers by artists from across the state. Pieces of amazing artwork from more than 45 artists are presented at this fair which looks quite exciting. You can have a lot of fun with the whole family at the fair. This fair is organized every year on the third Thursday of July whose timings are from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. It’s also free.

  1. Clemens Gardens was developed in 1990 to include six gardens with American fountains and plantings.
  2. Munsinger & Clemens Gardens has a special attraction for butterflies and bees because of its native plants, perennial varieties, and grasses.

Activities:- Surrounded by one of the tallest fountains in Minnesota, the Rose Vine, and 4 monochromatic gardens attract a lot of tourists. The 104 feet tall fountain in Treillage Gardens looks quite exciting. At Clemens Gardens, enjoy viewing the beautiful roses of the Rose Garden and six formally designed grounds with extensively wrought iron fences, red brick paths, benches and urns, and some beautiful fountains.

What to expect:– You get to see everything you’d expect at St. Claude’s Munsinger & Clemens Gardens. The garden is full of colorful flowers and leaves whose color and design change every year. Check out the beautiful fountains while walking. Relax in the relaxation room here and buy beautiful things from the gift shop. During the summer, the view of the White Garden here is made on sight. The beautiful white flowers and brown or green leaves in the garden provide a beautiful and exciting view. Don’t miss to see the replica of the 12-foot fountains from the pre-Civil War here.

Pets are not allowed here. You can enter this garden from Monday to Sunday from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. Don’t forget to bring a camera with you if you are a garden lover.
