The state beach offers a variety of programs and events to its visiting guests. Special-themed walks and hikes are hosted here several times throughout the year. Participate in the First Day Hike here on every New Year’s first day. Apart from this, weddings, fishing tournaments, triathlons, family reunions, corporate functions, business events, and photography are also specially organized here.

Surrounded by calm water and fine white sand this beautiful Narragansett beach offers guests a serene and picturesque setting. Beach of State Witch
The view of the beach here is quite beautiful and attractive. Practice fishing in the saltwater of the sea. This place is best for swimming that promotes safe swimming practice. They have their own capable life guards for beginners. You can come here for a picnic on the beach with the whole family. At the time of sunrise, it is very exciting to see the sun shining in the water here. Check out the hot indoor showers and outdoor showers. The calm water and white sand on the beach create quite a beautiful sight.

- Rhode Island’s first state beach was established in 1929 by Captain Shager W. Wheeler.

It is open to guests all year round from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM from Monday to Friday and from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Additional facilities include public restrooms, outdoor showers, wheelchair accessibility, large parking lot, playground, food and gift concessions, and lifeguard tower.
