Hubbard Park

Spread over 194 acres of land, Hubbard Park is a public park located in Montpelier, Vermont, USA. Natural Areas of Park

The view of Hubbard Park full of the natural environment is very breathtaking. As a center of nature, the park offer its visitors a fitness trail, lush green meadows, beautiful flowering plants, a garden, small fauna, and a small pond. It is quite exciting to see this park surrounded by big shady trees. In the winter season, you can enjoy the popular sledding spots here.

Observation tower of this park

The tower is situated at the highest point of the park which provides a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. To make the wildlife attractive and beautiful, nut and fruit trees have been planted around the tower, which looks quite beautiful. Along with the grassy fields and benches, picnic tables are also available here for the convenience of the tourists. You will be able to see many mountain ranges from the top of the tower. Events at Hubbard Park

A variety of events and festivals are held throughout the year in the park. The park also hosts an annual community arts-based All Species Day Parade spring festival, traditionally held at the soccer field on the first Sunday of each May. In the summer, it hosts the annual Parkapalooza music festival series on the third Saturday of each month from June through September. Apart from this, it is the best place to celebrate many other events, meetings, birthday parties, anniversaries etc.

  1. Built-in 1899, the park was designed by Dana F. Daw and ASLA and is operated by the City of Montpelier’s Parks and Trees Department.

Enjoy a water fountain, parking area, and games in the surrounding area at the new Shelter Pavilion. Consider also visiting the new Shelter Pavilion and Seven Fire Places where this picnic area has grills and fireplaces for outdoor and campfire cooking.

What to an expect:-This great park in Vermont has everything to keep visitors entertained. Look for a small man-made pond at the entrance of the park. Walk, jog and run on the extensive trails here and go hiking on the river. Skiing and Seven Mills hiking are just some of the things you’ll find to see and do here.
