Lebanon Hills Regional Park

A part of the Dakota County Park System, Lebanon Hills Regional Park is an outdoor recreation spot that restores prairie and forest within the area and plants new shrubs and trees. The park is the largest in Dakota Country in Eagan and Apple Valley, which features interactive nature displays, outdoor programs, and rental equipment, containing wetlands, grasslands, lakes, ponds, campgrounds, and forests to explore. There are many summer and winter activities, recreation programs, and water activities such as ice skating, snowshoeing, fishing, swimming, boating, kayaking, and canoeing for guests to have fun in the water. Lebanon Hills Regional Park showcases nature displays, consisting of a visitor center, garden, wedding venue, camping sites, preserved woodland, popular beach, and hardest mountain biking tracks created to challenge visitors.

Jensen Lake

Jensen Lake is the largest lake in the park, offering canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, and fishing in summer. In the winter season, visitors can enjoy ice skating, snowshoeing, kicksled, and cross-country skiing. The lake’s beach has shaded picnic areas, a playground, and a large stretch of sand to enjoy shoreline overlooks and sunset views.
