O’Keeffe’s Home “Abiquiu”
Abiquiu is a small village where O’Keeffe used to live and work. It is located adjacent to the O’Keeffe Welcome Center which is now owned by O’Keeffe Museum Foundation. It offers viewers a chance to see and feel the time and love O’Keeffe dedicated to this special property.

- At the museum, they allow amateur photography only; you cannot use the images for commercial purposes.
What to expect
Tours are approximately 90 minutes in length. You need to make an early reservation online available at the official website. The staff there is friendly and will guide you throughout the exhibit galleries. The tour is all about the paintings and artwork of O’Keeffe. The museum opens daily at 9:00 am and closes at 5:00 pm. You will typically need 45 minutes to 1 ½ hour for a visit to this place.

The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. So, make your plans accordingly. Don’t come here on holidays as it is closed on New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
