Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, Phoenix, Arizona is one of the most diverse water parks in the United States. The water park features 30 award-winning rides and attractions. The park also boasts of North America’s first gravity-defying coaster that blasts the rider uphill across 830 feet of breathtaking curves. It is the perfect destination for lazy summer days. One of the best attractions at the Six Flags Hurricane Harbor is, of course, the rides. The Tornado, Bahama Blaster, or the Bonzai Pipeline are for the people who love giant slides. If you are looking for family-friendly rides, Big Kahuna or the Wahoo Racers are the rides that you should consider. There are two areas that are especially for the little ones; Splash Island and Soak’em playground.

Hurricane Harbor has brought the next big thing- the dive-in. Dive-in movies are fantastic family shows on the outdoor screens. The only difference is that seating is replaced by the pool floats. It is one of the most unique and relaxing ways to watch a movie with young children. Kids can still play in the water while you enjoy watching your favorite movie.

Activities

Friends and family can fit in a big raft that slides down a series of bumpy hills. Buccaneer Bay is a kid zone where kids can climb on and splash. You can also enjoy Hurricane Bay which is a half million-gallon wave pool that makes the king-size waves. Take a scenic raft cruise down a lazy river at Castaway Creek.

 

What to Expect

The park will open from 14 March 2020. When Hurricane Harbor opens this summer, visitors can expect 12,000 square foot activity pool, floating lily pads, basketball courts, and water volleyball. There are improved dining options at Hurricane Harbor. There are more than 21 dining spots that let you enjoy your food. All visitors including pass holders and members need to make advance reservations.

 

Plan your Visit

Spend your day at the Hurricane Harbors at $10. Please note few things before entering. In footwear, only aqua socks are allowed. Running is not allowed anywhere in the park. The park may not be available to all the guests during peak hours due to limited capacity. So, make sure you come at the right time to visit it deeply.
