San Diego Zoo

The World Famous San Diego Zoo truly captures the history and culture of the region and can only be found in San Diego. The Zoo is home to more than 3700 animals and more than 700000 exotic plants including Elephants, Odyssey, Australian Outback, Monkey trails, Polar Bear plunge, and Moreton Bay Fig Trees. Visitors can view Koalas, reptiles of various shapes and sizes, and many other interesting species here. There is a Balboa Park Miniature Train to ride around a part of the park.
