Snow Canyon State Park

The name of the park Snow Canyon State Park was named after the name of two great Utah leaders Lorenzo and Erastus Snow. After knowing about the location of this park you will be surprised,1 it is located in the red-rock country near St. George palace in Southwestern Utah. The Park enjoys both the season's mild winter weather and seldom snowy too. Along with this one more interesting thing is that the Park has 16 miles of hiking trails, biking, horse riding, as well as technical rock climbing too. All this is set along with a stunning backdrop of sandstone cliffs which are colored red and white. All around the year opened, a nice campground is set. Visitors also enjoy the wildlife and nature as well as wait for opportunities that they can capture in photographs. Down the hill, one can also see black lava oozing and then it caps some ridges

  • Tuacahn Center for the arts: Tuacahn Center for Arts exists due to Hyrum W. and Gail Smith. And now the center celebrates its 25th season. These seasons happen with famous Disney’s beauty and beast, School of Rock, the Count of Monte Cristo, Annie, and one can smile and build memories to last for a lifetime. The night spent out at Tuacahn is a night not to be forgotten. The person who visited might share the beauty of the place. The grounds were landscaped and the surroundings were of magnificent beauty.

 

  • Jenny’s Canyon Trail: Jenny’s Canyon Trail is a short walk-up canyon and the overlook is an attractive hike for families and children. The whole view of the canyon is really amazing as trails wind down the path and dry wash impassible in a rainstorm. To the right, a few steps is a nice overlook where you see Snow Canyon Sand Dunes and to the left you take is the excess to Canyon. Due to habitat this trail remains closed seasonally.

 

 

  • Hidden Pinyon Lookout: The Hidden Pinyon Lookout is a short spot located in Snow Canyon State Park. The Hidden Pinyon Trail is rocky, uneven most of the way, and few ways sandy and not that rocky. When west Canyon is crossed three ponds that end when entering a very narrow, deep canyon. From Snow Canyon State Park, Hidden Pinyon is 2 miles. The Park charges an entry fee and parking charging per vehicle which is $6. Depending upon the season the things and activities change here

During our visit, one can enjoy the rides but one must do and travel with proper precautions. All the rules must be followed to travel hikes, trails, and do rock climbing. The ancient lava flow grounds are converted into campgrounds and are beautifully decorated.
