You can see a variety of exhibits in this zoo. It mainly houses the Big Cat exhibit. It houses some of the world’s most spectacular big cats including tigers, lions, and snow leopards. The Arctic Passage exhibit takes visitors on a journey through the Arctic, showcasing animals such as polar bears, seals, and Arctic foxes. The primate houses includes orangutans, lemurs, and gibbons.

- This spectacular zoo in Madison opened in 1911 and is owned and operated by Dane County.
- The zoo was named in honor of Henry Vilas, a prominent Madison businessman.

Plan to visit:-Make sure to visit this zoo full of beautiful scenery and entertainment with your kids, family, and friends. It remains open for tourists throughout the year. You can enter here from Monday to Sunday from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. It is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
