Liberty Science Center
New Jersey’s first state science museum, which sits in the western part of the area, Liberty State Park is an absolute learning center and science museum that opened in 1933. The museum contains multiple educational opportunities, historical artifacts, engineering artworks driven by computers, the world’s fifth largest IMAX Dome theater, the largest planetarium of the nation, and isokinetic structures named Hoberman Sphere, created by colorful plastic and capable of stretching and folding for its original size.
Monuments and Memorials
Liberty State Park has many monuments and memorials of the historical world wars, survivors, and fighters, featuring Liberation, a bronze sculpture as a memorial, and a two-story sail-shaped bronze monument of the historical journey of Christopher Columbus on his 500th anniversary. In the shape of the ship, the Sail of Columbus is a stone base that highlights the traveling history and scenes of Columbus. There are many displays of the names of victims engraved on walls.
Central Railroad Terminal of New Jersey
Liberty State Park has abandoned rail yards. Daily opens from 8 am to 5 pm, the Terminal situated at the Park’s entrance offers easy access to the Hudson River and a gateway to the ocean. The Terminal is the immigrant station settling within the area, boarded trains from other states. The rail runs through the Park and adjoins the downtown directly to the Communipaw Park.

Activities: – The State Park is a popular destination of the nation that has something for everyone to enjoy sports, picnics, water features, and liberty walk along the waterfront. The state park contains a U.S. Flag Plaza that flies high in the sky, the Statue of Liberty overlook, and monuments to explore the history and journey of Columbus. Enjoy fireworks on the 4th of July along the flag plaza and walk on the Hudson River waterfront walkway. The park has a science museum and art center and includes many interactive science exhibits, educational classes, and art galleries. Enjoy movies in the IMAX Theatre, outdoor performances, and concerts of Mariah Carey, Tim McGraw, Selena Gomez, and many other celebrities.

Plan your visit: – You can come here all year round from 6 am to 10 pm through Monday to Sunday.
